The underground metal label Doc Records is hailing from Uden, The Netherlands. Founder Alwin Roes is a well-known rock/metal-bass-player and started as a musician in the Dutch doom/death metal band Dead End. Besides a label, he owns a record-shop and organizes club- and festival-shows under the moniker of Doc Holliday Metal Productions. Due to his background and network he decided to manufacture vinyl- and cd-releases on his own and after some releases from bands as Arkhangelsk, Ceremony, Dead End, Graceless, Gravestone and Pantheon, he started to work with bigger bands as Paganizer, Occult, Master and Stygian Dark.

As Alwin comments: “I’m just a small label, but i’m proud that i work now with the best names in the (death) metal-scene. I honoustly believe i’m delivering top-quality releases from the most respected metal musicians in the world. If you would have said two years ago that i would be working now with legends as Paul Speckmann (Master), Henri Sattler (God Dethroned), Rogga Johansson (Paganizer, Revolting) and Dave Ingram (Benediction, Bolt Thrower), i wouldn’t have believed you. We’re a small upcoming niche metal label, but already a big label in the death metal scene. ”

Doc Records’ highlights for 2022 are: “Fly The Fiendish Skies” from the ‘zombie’ death metal quartet Heir Corpse One (one of the many bands of Swedish master-guitarist - and multi-instrumentalist/vocalist - Rogga Johansson), “Fury Of The Netherworld” from the blackened death metal band To The Gallows (featuring the ‘match in hell’-duo God Dethroned’s Henri Sattler and Rogga Johansson), “To Heaven Below” from the Swedish melodic death metallers of Mordenial and “Foreverwar” from the trio Warmagic, featuring once more Rogga Johansson on guitar and vocals and delivering a grinding mix of early 90’s old school groovy death metal with an early 80’s occult metal rawness.
