The [PIAS] Store

Danish retro-rockers On Trial are caught in time warp of their own devising. Though they only formed in the mid-'90s, vocalist Bo Morthen Petersen, guitarist Anders Skjodt, bassist Nikolaj Lykkenielsen and drummer/organist Guf "Lorenzo Woodrose" Lorentzen play psychedelic music reminiscent of late-'60s acts like Love and 13th Floor Elevators. In the mid/end nineties when stoner rock as a genre was at its high On Trial’s sound was often compared to the likes as Kyuss, Hawkwind, Masters Of Reality and Monster Magnet.

This live-show was recorded at Roadburn Festival 2007 when they played to the packed Batcave venue a perfect psychedelic batch of covers and their own songs. On Trial played that year among bands as Neurosis, Melvins, Blue Cheer, Amenra and Clutch. This live-set was mixed and mastered by Scott ‘Dr. Space’ Heller.
