Berlin-based independent music label Pelagic Records commemorates the work of seminal industrial / ambient / ost / electronic music pioneer Lustmord, not only by re-releasing Lustmord’s albums “Beyond” (2009), “The Dark Places Of The Earth” (2009) and 2008’s “Other” (to date the only Lustmord album with guitars on it, performed by King Buzzo (Melvins) and Aaron Turner (Isis) and Tool’s Adam Jones), but also by releasing the 2cd- & 3lp-boxset “The Others” with Lustmord tracks reinterpreted by some of the spearheads of the contemporary heavy music scene - and beyond: Ulver, Enslaved, Godflesh, Zola Jesus, Bohren & Der Club Of Gore, Steve Von Till, Ihsahn, Jaye Jayle, Jo Quail, Spotlights, Katatonia’s Jonas Renske , Alexander Hacke’s (Einsturzende Neubauten) new band Hackedepiciotto, as well as fellow Pelagic artists Mono, The Ocean, Arabrot and Crown.
