The [PIAS] Store

Formed in Cracow, Poland in 2019, MAW blends the raw intensity of the '90s Palm Desert scene with their own distinct modern sound. Born from jam sessions filled with heavy and dynamic riffs, they quickly crafted a style that resonates with fans of powerful textured rock. Their self-titled debut album, recorded at Vintage Record Studio, was released in 2021. A recent line-up change brought fresh energy, leading to their new second album “The Humbled Collapse”. Rooted in stoner rock, but pushing beyond its musical limits, MAW draws inspiration from bands as Colour Haze, Causa Sui, Down, Alabama Thunderpussy, Deftones and Sleep. Their collaborative songwriting process transforms riffs into immersive sonic journeys. With a passion for heavy and evocative soundscapes, MAW continues to carve their own raw and dark desert / stoner rock path.
