In June 2000, after nearly seven years since their inception, the esteemed underground rap collective finally released their debut full-length album. Despite high anticipation, "Quality Control" delivers on par with Jurassic 5's outstanding EP from three years prior. The album clocks in at almost an hour, featuring DJ Nu-Mark and Cut Chemist's skillful turntablism alongside the group's signature harmonies and individual solos.

Tracks like "Lausd" pay homage to hip-hop classics while exploring themes of media and adulthood responsibility.
