"Fertile Descent” (2018), released on the German label Eisenwald Records, stood out amid the over-populated black metal scene, and was the debut-album of the Dutch band Solar Temple, a duo featuring members of Fluisteraars and Turia. “The Great Star Aboves Provides: Live At Roadburn 2022” is a commissioned project from Roadburn Festival, with four new epic songs. You can expect an unique style of ceremonial, trancy, densely layered, psychedelic, noisy (post-)rock, with a heart deep within the shadowy realms of primal atmospheric swirling black metal, somewhere between Mayhem, Alcest, Black Sabbath, My Bloody Valentine, Swans, Pink Floyd, Deafheaven and The Ocean.
